INDUCTION WORKSHOP OF THE PROJECTS TO BUILD COMMUNITY RESILIENCE IN LA GUAJIRA, COLOMBIA @ 10 Sep 2015

During these days is being conducted the Induction Workshop of the Project Resilience in The Americas (RITA) Fiscal Year 2016 and the project about community resilience funded by Office of Foreign Disaster Relief Assistance for the Government of United State (OFDA-USAID). The event is being held in La Guajira with the participation of volunteers of the Guajira Sectional, functionaries of the Colombian Red Cross (National Head Quarter and Sectional), and representatives of the American Red Cross. The first Vice President of the Colombian Red Cross Guajira Sectional, Magdalena Espinoza De Salas MD, expressed to the participants her satisfaction to see the results of the previous phase of the RITA Project reflected in the communities. The framework documents of both project are being analyzed, work teams have been formed to address the designing and planification of both projects, highlighting the methodology and technological tools to be used, for example, the Project Management System (SAP).
