REGIONAL INDUCTION WORKSHOP RITA FISCAL YEAR 16
RESILIENCE IN THE AMERICAS
The American Red Cross Office in Panama is hosting the Regional Induction Workshop on the Project of Resilience in The Americas (RITA) Fiscal Year 2016, from August 04 to 08.
Forty-seven people from the implementing countries in Latin America have convened in order to standardize processes, tools, project administration and management procedures at the programmatic and financial level. The participants include the implementing National Society’s National Coordinators, Local Coordinators/mobilizers, Financial Coordinators, the entire American Red Cross team for Latin America and the Quality and Learning Unit, as well as staff from the National Headquarters of Washington DC.
During the first day of the workshop, the participants have been working on the following: Project Framework documents, the Monitoring and Evaluation mid-term evaluation, the One Billion Coalition where the American Red Cross is having an important role in supporting the International Federation of Red Cross, and the RITA project’s Operative Technical Manual was presented. Participants are having cross-cultural exchanges, sharing their project experiences, and contributing to this learning opportunity in across the region of Latin America.
